The Power Tools is a Bid Solicitation software program which provides a centralized database to easily input project bids, maintain vendors, create and fax or email Invitations to Bid, and log bid response activity. It can be utilized by a single user, or multiple users who can share the same bid data.

The Power Tools provides an easy way to build an Invitation to Bid using powerful filtering capabilities to determine which Subs/Vendors assigned to the bid/project will be faxed and/or emailed. A filter also exists to assign Subs/Vendors to the project based upon a distance from a specific zip code.

The software includes the ability to send Addenda's, Transmittals, or any other document that you may need to send to your Subs/Vendors. It provides the ability to attach unlimited files to each Sub/Vendor for quick reference (e.g. Prequalification forms, W9's, Requests for Bid Information, etc.).

Requirements:

If you wish to use custom MS Word templates, then you will need Microsoft Word XP/03/07 (not included) including the Fax Server PC. Operating System of Windows 2000 or higher for each user/client PC. Windows XP or higher for the faxing portion of our software.

The Power Tools uses the Microsoft Fax program that is included in Windows XP or later versions of Windows. It will also work with WinFax (not included or supported by UCS). Maintenance and Support Costs:

Free maintenance & technical support for the first 90 days, $30 a month for sites with 1-4 users, $37.50 a month for sites with 5-9 users. 10 or more users, please call for pricing. For those sites that utilize connections to other Fax Server platforms such as RightFax, ZetaFax, etc., there is an additional fee of $25 a month. Paid Maintenance and Support after the free 90 days provides free program updates & unlimited free* service calls.

Declination of Maintenance & Support:

Support call charge of $125 per call/email event regardless of reason. If the latest release of our software is needed, you must purchase the new version.

*Excluded from the coverage of this Maintenance & Support Agreement are services resulting from misuse or modification of the Software by Customer, failure or interruption of any electrical power, or any accident or other cause external to the Software, including, but not limited to problems or malfunctions related to Customer's network, database(s), third party software products, and/or workstation configurations/hardware. Such excluded services, and additional consulting services such as training, product customization, setup and technical integration may be contracted separately by contacting the Power Tools Software for the then current labor rate (currently $125 an hour).
