Power Tools Estimating Software


PT Estimating is the latest addition to The Power Tool software applications. It is available as a standalone system or with integration to other Power Tools applications.

Features include:

Simple Unit pricing or optional material components, labor & equipment rates and production, crews with labor and equipment components.

Multiplier and Add-ons for calculations of items like sales tax, labor burden, city/location adjustments, idle time charges, etc.

Multiple price books can be used for pricing of different types of estimates. For example, a standard price book and one for conceptual estimates where the amounts are based on building square feet.

Documents - create RFP's and RFI's and track responses in a log.

Transmittals - print option for plan distribution, etc.

Includes check box selection of codes to be included in the estimate plus auto create estimate detail from price book for codes checked as "apply to all estimates."

Clone an estimate from another estimate with options to zero quantities, prices, or update the prices to the current price book values.

Automatic Bond calculations including bond on bond.

Track and price Alternates.

Company Address Book - same features and function as Bid Solicitation including attachment of documents & PDFs.

Project Address book - same features and function as Bid Solicitation. Select subcontractors for invitations, tracking plans, and enter bid amounts. Attach documents & PDFs to companies in the project address book.

Subcontractor Bid Amounts - Selection subcontractor from sub bids logged in the Project Address Book to enter amount in the estimate for a code and save the subcontractors name.

Job Cost - Exports estimate detail for lookup on forecasting forms and the job Budget. The budgets in Job Cost have the estimate amount and changes made to the estimate to arrive at Original Budget.

Project Management - Subcontractors selected for an estimate are automatically added to the Job Address Book used by PT Project Manager.
