The Power Tools is a Bid Solicitation software program which provides a centralized database to easily input project bids, maintain vendors, create and fax/email Invitations to Bid, and log bid response activity. It can be utilized by a single user, or multiple users who will share the same bid data.

The Power Tools provides an easy way to build an Invitation to Bid using powerful filtering capabilities to determine which subs/vendors assigned to the bid/project will be faxed and/or emailed. A filter also exists to assign subs/vendors to the project based upon a distance from a specific zip code. Subcontractors can respond to your bid invitations electronically via the web eliminating time consuming manual input of their bid intentions.

The software includes the ability to send Addendas, Transmittals, or any other document that you may need to send to your subs/vendors. It provides the ability to attach unlimited files to each sub/vendor for quick reference (e.g. Pre-qualification form, W9, Insurance certification, Request for Bid Information, etc.).

Requirements:

If you wish to use custom MS Word templates, then you will need Microsoft Word XP/03/07/10 (not included). Operating System of Windows 2000 or higher for each user/client PC.

The Power Tools uses the Microsoft Fax program that is included in Windows XP or later versions of Windows. It will also work with WinFax (not included or supported by UCS).
