A run time version of The Power Tools is available for those of you who do not have MS Access and do not want to purchase it. It has the same features as the original software except for the ability to do a "Filter For" on the data fields within each form, nor can you add unlimited user defined fields (this version has a limit of 5).

In the full version with MS Access, you can right click in any data field on the form, select the "filter for" menu item from the pop-up, and type filter commands to reduce your data to only those records that match the filter criteria. For example, let's say you only needed subcontractors in a specific area code listed. In the phone number field, you could do a "filter for" 281* (* is a wildcard) and the form would only display those subcontractors whose area code is 281.

You must also have Microsoft Word to utilize the custom templates.
